They really surprised me! I was not expecting it at all!

Mom sent me a big balloon in a box attached to a bag of Mother's frosted animal cookies. She knows how much I like them!!!

Lydia got to help me blow out the candles! She thought it was so much fun she wanted to do it again.

I think we all had a good time...especially me!!!

Today was my birthday and I was feeling a little down because it is my first birthday without my mom and dad here (mom always makes it a special day). I had a great morning at work with treats and balloons from my coworkers...and I got to leave at noon. I ended up taking Bella to the vet to get her vaccinations (which needed to be done) then ran to a few stores to get some things. The plan was to meet my friend Melissa for dinner and I thought we would go to run a few more things in Rockford. Well, she had some other plans!

She told me she had to run to her house to get something and when we got there some of my family and friends were there to surprise me! I was so excited (a little scared at first)! It was so much fun! I don't have any pictures because my camera was in Melissa's car because I thought we were leaving again to go into Rockford. I am going to try to get a few from her or from Shannon. I will post then when I can. I had a great birthday!

Beth's shower

Alright, I know I said I would try to post more often now that I have internet, but I have been so busy with work and everything. I have been picking up as many hours as I can and getting lots of over time. It is nice on the pay check, but it leaves little time to do other things.




Saturday was my friend Beth's bridal shower in Madison. Her fiance's family lives there and his sisters and mom did a shower for his side of the family. It was alot of fun! We played some fun games and has some good food.

A game we played was showing the way Beth would like to dress and how she would not like to dress. They over exaggerated a little! These two girls were good models

Beth's sister-in-law (and brother) got her this sign for their new house. She was so excited about it!

I have internet!!!

Shelley and I now have internet in our apartment!! It is so nice to get on the computer and know that I will be able to check my email. Hopefully this means I will be able to update my blog a little more often. Not much is new around here (other than the internet excitement). Tomorrow I am going to my friend Beth's bridal show! Maybe I will take some pictures and post them tomorrow.
